I was driving down our gravel road the other day and noticed this black blob off to the side of the road. Maddie was in the car and i turned to her and said, "oh boy, someone hit another animal." They drive so gosh darn fast down this gravel road sometimes, even the buses (yes, the buses that drive your children to their public school) drive 60 miles an hour! So many times our animals have been hit; we've lost several cats to this insanity. So i was concerned and slowed down to look and see if i could recognize what animal it was. Well low and behold, it wasn't an animal at all - it was an
afro! Yes,
an afro! And Maddie said, "I feel a blog post coming on! - 'I partied so hard my afro fell off!'"
So i pulled over, grabbed him and off we went - Adventures with Afro shall begin......

There he was, lonely and lost! |
Percy said, "Yeeeeaaaah, baby!" (think deep, penetrating, Barry White voice) |
Edy of course wanted to play with him. |
Cheeto (the narcissistic cat) said, "He's ruining my awesomeness!" |
Tiki found him quite soft and lovable. |
Then 'Fro decided he wanted to watch a little TV, and settle down with his blankie. |
Its a cold and long winter here in Minnesota......
