WE ARE EXPOSING OURSELVES AGAIN!

Yes, Barn Bar can no longer be hailed as urban legend, we are officially gonna be on the air!  Well, sort of.  At least our story of how Barn Bar came about will be.  KMSQ, a local public television interviewed a few of the Barn Bar characters on Wednesday for their "Off 90" program.

"Off 90"... don't you wish you had a buck for every time you've heard someone say that? In our region, just about everything and everyone is "off 90". So, naturally, that became the title for this series.
Episodes take a look at our shared culture and heritage, featuring stories from around the corner, maybe up the highway, down the next main street, probably stories you haven't heard before. Some funny, some thought-provoking. Inventors and local heroes. Arts and letters. Acts of creativity and acts of charity. Saints and scoundrels of local history. Seniors and scouts. Poets and parks. Past and present. A to Z.

They arrived promptly at one and kindly gave me permission to take images for the blog.

There they are!  Maria and her camera guy, darn, what was his name?  Mat!  Yes, Mat and Maria.  they were awesome and fun.  She had great hair too!

Winky was there to make sure everything went ok.

Chris Atwood (Character of Brian), Debi Neville (DJ - the writer) and Leisa Luis-Grill (Patti Wormwood - the funeral director) did such and amazing job on their interviews.  They are like old pros!  Very funny and witty as usual.  maybe that's why they make great actors.  Unlike....
Me. There I am, with all my faulty, "ummm, ahhh."  I really am not good at interviews, plus i had to keep asking stupid things like, "Lisa - what is your character's name?"  Yeah, i know - nerves.  I like being behind the camera not in front of it!
Luckily Bob has the gift
for gab and had an
excellent interview.
We are not sure exactly what the purpose is, but we
liked that Lisa had said it.
